Transnational Organized Crime
MS-13, Tren de Aragua, Sinaloa Cartel, CJNG, Hells Angels alliances, and how foreign syndicates are embedding inside U.S. cities.
Retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent · U.S. Navy Veteran · Host of Brunner en Frente
Daniel Brunner spent 29 years in federal law enforcement and the U.S. Navy — including two decades as an FBI Special Agent, SWAT Tactical Operations Team Leader, and founding member of Joint Task Force Vulcan, the unit created to dismantle MS-13. Today he cuts through the noise on the stories everyone's talking about — and the ones no one is. Just the facts. No sides.

About
Turning headlines into understanding — one story at a time.
Dan enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1994 and served until 2003, including four years as an instructor at the United States Naval Academy. He joined the FBI the same year and spent the next two decades hunting the country's most dangerous criminal organizations.
As an FBI SWAT Tactical Operations Team Leader and Crisis Management Coordinator for the Newark Division, he led tactical operations and managed multi-agency response to high-stakes incidents. He spent 15 years on the gang unit and four on domestic terrorism, working RICO cases against skinheads, cartels, and transnational criminal organizations.
In 2019 he became a founding member of Joint Task Force Vulcan, the FBI unit established specifically to dismantle MS-13 — work that took him from courtroom testimony to capturing a Top Ten Most Wanted fugitive. He retired from the Bureau in September 2023 and now serves as President and Co-Founder of Brunner Sierra Group, a forensic accounting and security consulting firm he runs with his wife Christine in Bozeman, Montana.
He holds a Master's in International Security Studies from the University of Arizona, a current Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph, and is a native Spanish speaker with deep family and professional roots across Latin America.
